As you browse our website, we hope you sense our excitement about what God is doing here along the South River. We have been a part of this community since 1924, and we have been making a difference for Christ ever since. No matter your age, we have a place for you to grow. Through these pages, get to know the people and ministries of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, but more importantly, we pray you don’t leave here without knowing more about God’s love and the purpose he has for your life. About Pastor Stan Jenkins
A native of Wallace, N.C., Stan Jenkins holds a B.A. degree in Social Science from Gardner-Webb University and a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Campbell University Divinity School.
Before surrendering to the ministry, Pastor Stan worked for Nabisco Brands for twenty years as a Sales Representative. He has previously been pastor of Bear Branch, Olivet, Baptist Tabernacle, Gibson Avenue, and Wells Chapel Baptist Churches prior to coming to Riverside Baptist Church.
Pastor Stan and his wife Melody have one adult child and one grandchild.
